BTC Markets is a rigid Australian bitcoin exchange that is suitable for newcomers and experienced traders alike. The exchange offers multiple trading pairs as well as more than one BTC/AUD pair which is refreshing to see. At first glance, the webpage can look rather ugly, but the interface is seamless and easy to work with.
BTC markets earn its name because it is one of the only exchanges in Australia to offer market orders and limit orders, features that are always welcoming for experienced traders. The price of bitcoin does come with a premium, although this is common for any Australian Bitcoin Exchange. The overall experience of BTC markets is relatively easy, although we would recommend others for beginners.
Fees
BTC markets do not charge a withdrawal fee.
BTC Markets do charge a fee for trading which can range from .1-.5%, relatively small to other exchanges on offer.
As always, sending coins over the network will mean a small miners fee will be taken.
Security
BTC Markets is very secure and does offer 2-factor Authentication, although they do control your keys until you transfer your cryptocurrency to an outside wallet.

BTC markets is operable anywhere in the world but is limited to Australian customers due to local laws and restrictions.
Overall, BTC Markets is a good exchange with limited downside. It doesn’t look the nicest, but once you are familiar with the platform it is easy to use. We recommend this exchange for intermediate Bitcoin and cryptocurrency investors.
